Old stuff

Here's a link to some animations I've made already in college last year, if you fancy a gander :)

Football

Next i tried animating the football, which i enjoyed doing much more than the bowling ball. As a football is more bouncy I could really go to town with the stretching and squashing. I found the hardest part was keeping the pattern on the football in proportion when its squashed, but i think my attempt isn't too shabby.

Bowling ball

I animated the bowling ball first as i thought it would be the easiest. I figured that it was quite heavy so it would fall quickly, therefore needing less frames. I only used the stretch and squash method subtly as it is a solid object and wouldn't look right if it was overly bouncy.
I think that it turned out quite well although i think that the bounce in it doesn't look quite right as it looses its shapes during the bounce, even tho i tried not to over use stretch and squash.

First project!

Ok so my first project was to animate a football and a bowling ball falling into the screen and then coming to a halt. This project is mainly to practice the technique of 'stretch and squash' and to learn how to show the weight of somthing so that it looks more realistic.
