I was quite please with my Cubey jump, it looks quite realistic, although I think I could of used more exageration on the aniticpation and overlap.

CUBEY
To learn basic 2d animation principles I've been introduced to Cubey. He is a cubeyish stickman character who we'll animate in different ways.
First I animated him jumping from one spot to another. By doing this animation I learned two important priciples of animation, anticipation and overlap, this makes it look much more realistic and bring more life to your character. For instance, in this jump, the anticipation is when Cubey bends his knees preparing to jump, and the overlap is at the end when he bends his knees again when he lands.
